International Bank with an expanding securitization business is seeking someone with portfolio management and KYC experience to do the following:
KYC
Lead end-to-end onboarding of new clients and periodic reviews of existing relationships,
including beneficial ownership identification/verification and mapping of ownership and control
structures.
Validate KYC documentation (incorporation documents, identification, person appearing).
Coordinate data/document collection with front office, clients and internal departments.
Ensure KYC files meet policy/quality standards as well as EU/US regulatory requirements.
Monitor turnaround times and proactively manage bottlenecks.
Maintain complete, auditable KYC files and case notes; ensure accurate static data in the bank’s
internal systems.
Execute periodic refresh cycles and event-driven reviews; monitor trigger events.
Advise and support team members on KYC-related topics; contribute to training and awareness.
Identify and recommend enhancements to policies, procedures, and checklists; actively support
implementation of regulatory changes.
Portfolio Management
Provide ongoing deal team support for multiple existing transactions, including day-to-day client
interaction, ongoing funding and surveillance as well as portfolio management oversight;
Liaise with the conduit manager and coordinate, submit and reconcile daily commercial paper
activity for the conduit;
Coordinate with Credit Risk, Treasury, Finance, Legal, and Operations on new and existing
transactions; and
Support the origination of new prospective transactions, including structuring, documentation
and execution.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, math, or related field.
3-7 years of experience in securitization operations, financial operations or KYC roles with
exposure to structured finance products.
Knowledge of KYC/AML processes and operational risk/control frameworks, in particular, sound
understanding of AML and sanctions frameworks relevant to the role (e.g., EU/US AML
directives, German GwG and BaFin guidance, FATF recommendations, EU/UN and applicable
national sanctions), and GDPR for client data handling.
Working knowledge of multi-seller ABCP structures and their key operational components,
including eligibility criteria, triggers, waterfalls, and liquidity facilities.
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with reconciliation and reporting workflows;
exposure to deal models and administration tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; strong attention to detail; ability
to manage multiple deals and deadlines.
Compensation & Work Environment:
Base salary: $125-165k (commensurate with experience and level; plus performance-based
